A true force of nature and Bristol legend, we’ve fondly witnessed him display the kind of range we love here at Timedance, covering everything from bouncy House to mind-warping peak time Techno via kaleidoscopic declinations of the  future facing Bristol bass sound. 

This long overdue debut on the label displays three jaw dropping numbers. Harvested for maximum stroboscopic efficiency, this EP is packed with Hodge’s anthemic signature hooks, bass weight for days and a truly singular approach to a forward rave sound. 

Summoning sirens from space, laser guided Grime-Tech and intoxicating explorations into peak time tempos, « Voice Crash » stands as the perfect interpolation of a producer we have revered for years and Timedance’s very own mission statement.

Fussyhead

After diversifying with the release of a couple of tapes over the last few years, BFDM’s little sis — Homemade Soundsystem — returns to what it knows what to do best: a two-track bass-heavy dancehall 7 inch. This one is courtesy of Parisian producer Krikor, who was already behind the outfit’s first release back in 2019. The well named Captivation Riddim starts off as a slow-but-rough compelling tune with haunting and trippy vocal samples creating an adequately driving mood. On the flip, Liberation Riddim is a percussive chopped-up party starter, ideal for changing gears with multiple BPM shifts and breaks throughout the track.

Despina (they/them)

Despina (they/them) is a Queens-based producer and DJ. Their music explores the intersection of psychedelic textures, intricate rhythms, and pounding grooves. They are a longtime stalwart of the New York label Kindergarten Records, releasing 2 EPs on the label. Despina’s most recent EP ‘Erupting Color’ was released on All Centre in May 2024, marking their second release on the London based label.
