Hafengrün Festival was held in the industrial harbour of Hamburg. That means dirty water, pale concrete and just a few colours. 

So we figured to keep it funky in order to harmonize everything as much as possible with the surrounding environment.

To celebrate our 10th year jubilee we thought about something different. The result is a “back to the roots” set on the Trancefloor at Fusion Festival. 

It contains many of our favourite tracks from the good old days, spiced up with a few fresh tunes to round up a lovely story of trancey hypnotic time travelling. 

Special thanks goes out to the sun and the smiling souls who supported us on the dancefloor!

This set was played on Wednesday evening to open up the annual pre-party on the Trancefloor. I challenged myself and digged deep into my old record bags to blast some tales from the past. It turned out to be quite a mission to work the turntables (again) but eventually I really enjoyed the time behind the decks and was pleased to see some serious grooving on the dancefloor. Much appreciated!

The recording is slightly overdriven and it wobbles here and there, but hey, live is life.

This set was played in February 2019 at the Lost Paradise party on Koh Phangan in Thailand. Despite, or maybe precisely because some (technical) difficulties and an amplifier that eventually got up in smoke, I really enjoyed my time behind the decks. And all around this magical place on the beach with its beautiful people and vibrant energies. It felt like time travelling and brought back memories of my first party experiences on the island back in 1999. Shout out to Benjamin and Julien for keeping the spirit alive and of course my island family for the huge support. Arai-wa!

Easy to distinguish, this is about fun, not just Techno. The mission is the joy to administer a demand-oriented blend of groovy House, funky Tech and deep Progressive through the ear straight into the ass of the disposed dancer. With fresh ingredients and a proper portion of humor, nothing gets just parboiled here, but well stirred and neatly seasoned to taste.

Whether pulsating clubs, underground events, tropical beach and jungle parties or dusty festivals, Katja and Markus know how to elate the crowd with their diversified sound, which is always positive and far beyond the boring stereotyped. 
For now both are active as solo artists under the names:  Komorebi and Question Mark
