Manda Moor hits back-to-back releases on Hot Creations with her Picante EP, accompanied by a remix  from Hot Creations artist and Mood Child co-founder Sirus Hood.  

It’s safe to say that the past 24 months have seen Danish/Filipino DJ, producer and label founder Manda  Moor surge onto the international house scene with a combination of stand-out releases alongside sets at the likes  of Hï (Ibiza), The Beams (London) and Club Space (Miami). Having made her debut on the label with the excellent  ‘The Climax’ EP last year, she returns to Hot Creations almost a year to the day with her latest EP as she brings  the heat once again with her ‘Picante’ EP - with fellow Mood Child co-founder Sirus Hood joining on remix duties. 

I’m extremely happy to have my second release in a row on Hot Creations. The ‘Picante’ EP is about  embracing your extra spice. We all have that special sauce that makes us unique and hot. I believe my  spicy side is from my Filipino roots, and even though I don’t like spicy foods, I am trying to educate my  pallet to enjoy more picante fire in my life! I hope you feel that heat.” - Manda Moor.  

A bubbly and playful title cut fusing rolling drums, vibrant vocal interjections and a slick groove to bring plenty of  energy, ‘Picante’ takes cues from its title to bring a zippy production made to make crowds move, while Sirus  Hood’s take lays a focus on snaking drum grooves as crisp organic percussion arrangements take a hold. In  keeping with the theme, the EP is rounded out with another dynamic effort in the form of ‘Tabasko’ as Moor fuses  more lively and hard-hitting drum grooves with sweeping bird noises and further vocal samples for another helping  of dancefloor energy.

Goosey makes his Hottrax debut with his two-track ‘Restless’ EP. 

Goosey draws heavily from the Ibiza institution that is DC10. His unique take on underground house has quickly found favour, with high-profile artists such as Marco Carola, Michael Bibi and Joseph Capriati supporting his work. He is one of the breakout names of 2023, taking his forward-thinking sounds to labels like CUFF and BINARY, with this new release another big step in his career. 

For the a-side 'Restless', Goosey looks to the deep house sound of 2012 - big bouncy basslines, repetitive hypnotic vocals and lots of tension on the breaks. He adds extra club focus with his take on the style so the drums hit hard and the warped bass never lets up. Adding in an alluring female vocal with plenty of attitude, you have a surefire winner. 

The superb b-side tune 'Time' all started with the vocal line and has already been played by Jamie Jones in Ibiza to a great reception. "I heard the vocal and immediately knew there was something special about it," Goosey says of the writing process, adding it is a tune very much made with Jones's Paradise parties in mind. "He often plays some quite deep stuff towards the end of the night, and for me personally, it's always those tracks that I really come away remembering." 'Time' is a dark and sensual cut with melancholic chords and vast bass enveloping the crisp tech drums. The vocal is erotic and brings sensuality to the physical drums in a way that is sure to blow up the club. 

This is a standout two-tracker from man of the moment Goosey.

A near 15-year journey together fuelled by the intertwining values of passion, persistence and most importantly, friendship, Chicks Luv Us have well and truly arrived.

Originating from the tough port city of Marseille in France, the story of Julien Nerani and Anthony Fonseca is one sculpted through dedicated chapters of spirited work ethic, and an insistence for all things House and Tech House. 

Recognised for their gritty, yet groove house identity, citing heavy influence from 80’s and 90’s Hip-Hop and minimal techno, this taste-making French duo consider Loco Dice and Jamie Jones their biggest inspirations to have shaped their musical output. 

Trusty residents of French underground clubbing staple, Spartacus Club, between 2009 and 2018, Chicks Luv Us were privileged enough to warm up and close proceedings for a wealth of underground heavyweights. This includes Sven Vath, Marco Carola, Carl Cox, Paul Kalkbrenner and Adam Beyer just to name a few.

In addition to their impressive 10-year residency in the south of France, Julien and Anthony have also graced the booths of some of Europe’s biggest venues including Pacha Ibiza, Sankeys Ibiza, Ministry Of Sound and Studio 338 in London as well as El Fortin over in Brazil.

Producing music since 2012, they like it as tough as they do smooth. Chicks Luv Us fuse together their signature, sexy grooves with dark, rumbling basslines. A turbo-charged formula which has seen them release on such respected labels as Jamie Jones's Label Hot Creations, Loco Dice’s Desolat, Steve Lawler’s Viva Limited, Snatch Records, CUFF, Elrow, Relief Records, Repopulate Mars, Moan and several more.
