London-based DJ, festival organizer, and musician Polly, aka Poly-Ritmo, sets hips and feet on fire with sounds from all over the world. Growing up with jazz, soul, Latin music, and folk, she started working at 15 at Sounds Of The Universe (the home of Soul Jazz Records). After regular shows on SOAS Radio, Netil, and guest appearances on NTS, Jazz FM, and Balamii, Poly-Ritmo became a member of the Worldwide FM family, playing everything from forró to broken beat, kwaito to zouk. A regular at top festivals like Glastonbury, Gala, We Out Here, Shambala, Lost Village, and many others, she is also the co-founder and creative director of the Basket of Light Festival. She is behind our 227th mix.

I played a vast and rich set full of different artists and genres with the best hidden gems of world music (World Funk, Rock, Reggae, Brazilian Funk, Italo Funk, Turkish Psychedelic and Habibi Funk, Balearic Beat, Disco, Groove, Salsa and Cumbia, etc.)
