Probably one of the hardest session I had to make in times. A session fully dedicated to my friend and mentor in music, Olivier Portal aka Playin' 4 The City. Olivier was someone way above kindness, he was always there when you needed him and was always there to help you. I remember how he helped me on my track Playin' 4 The Sea Tee, track he liked very much!

The name Carnaval Sessions comes from a personal journey inspired by Haruki Murakami’s visit to Copenhagen, where he read the story Carnaval from First Person Singular. This sparked a deeper connection, leading me to explore Schumann’s Carnaval, performed by Rubinstein, as mentioned in the story. Just like how Murakami’s tale weaves together music and introspection, this show delves into the mysteries that music uncovers. Through sound, we transcend the everyday and enter a world where our dreams, thoughts, and fantasies come to life.
