Участники группы Электрическая Собака составили компиляцию записей со своих лайв-выступлений. Год назад музыканты осознанно отказались от совместных репетиций, поэтому всё их взаимодействие происходит во время сетов. Именно оно задокументировано в миксе – электроакустические завихрения, рассыпающиеся и тонущие ритмы, щекотание ушей электронным звуком.

The Elektricheskaya Sobaka band members have compiled recordings from their live performances. A year ago, the musicians deliberately refused to rehearse together, so all their interaction takes place during live sets. It was documented in the mix – electroacoustic swirls, crumbling and sinking rhythms, tickling the ears with electronic sound.

According to Homer's "Odyssey" the nymph Calypso, who resided in the island of Ogygia, put a spell on the sailor Odysseus who shipwrecked on the island when on his way to Ithaca.
After being abducted for 10 years he was freed from the psychedelic state of the love spell.
Calypso died of grief when Odysseus sailed back to his wife Penelope.

This compilation is a musical representation of the myth. An ode to passion and psychedelia.

Musically speaking the compilation is a flow of evocative sounds ranging from the fourth world, new age, psych-rock, dark ambient, techno, dub & electronica that provide an epic wholeness to the concept.

The tape’s artwork is an abstracted portrayal of Odysseus, encapsulating a gloomy, dream-like state of mind prevailing when under a spell of seduction. He is as the island beneath his feet, surrounded by the emptiness of the sea, trapped with nowhere to go.

New Year's collective audio-visual da-da fantasy, created by a group of Berlin teenagers under the guidance of musician and producer Galya Chikiss at a two-day workshop at the creative lab Zuckerwattenkrawatten.

All the music of the song is made from samples recorded by the workshop participants from their voices and sounds. The text is assembled from phrases spontaneously pulled out from the word cloud. The video is mixed from samples that were filmed in three hours of the second workshop session.

Galina Ozeran more known as Chikiss is a songstress, composer and electronic producer, born in Vitebsk, Belarus, raised in St.Petersburg, Russia, based in Berlin. Having recorded her first album in 2005, she has produced a large musical output from post-punk and noise-rock to minimalistic synthesizer pop and spectral ascetic electronics.
Chikiss has six full-length albums and numerous singles, EPs, mixtapes, concerts in alternative music centres and international festivals. Also collaborations with musicians from different countries such as Ensemble Economique (duo "Video Salon"), Dorit Chrysler, Eva Geist, Thomas Azier, Die Wilde Jagd, Bad Hammer, Pilocka Krach, Plattenbau, Etkin Cekin (duo "God is God"), Sveta Ben, Mustelide (duo "Deti Vechnosti"), Maya Postepski, Milky Toad and many others. The resident of the labels Not Not Fun, Bureau B, Crash Symbols, Intergalactic Research Institute for Sound, Space Ritual, Fuselab, Klammklang, Sameheads, Osàre Editions, Silhouette Tapes.
