10 years ago in my hometown Donetsk we tried to make a funk band out of 2 guitarists, a drummer, and a DJ. The guys played mainly heavy metal as they were raised on rock music. I started to instill funk in them, and at first, we had exciting jams, performances at breaking events. We performed even at such a historic major festival like Hot Funky! Not thinking for long, we called ourselves Hot Funky Band 🙂 
We recorded 2-3 tracks, and the band fell apart. During our jams, I realized that I wanted it all: learn to play the guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards, pipes, etc.

Years later, a friend of mine convinced me that it was not necessary to buy instruments. If you really want to create music, but there are no instruments, you can get by with a midi keyboard and Ableton program. Having learned some solfeggio, I got deeper into different musical genres. And now I want to share with you my first very own funk track, the creation of which was inspired by nostalgia for the times of Hot Funky Band. I will Funk you!
