One of my favorite track of that hero of african music! I added a breakbeat and boosted the bass line because i wanted to play this supa-groovy track in the clubs! I used to burn the dance floor when i played this remix at " IN FUNK WE TRUST ". Once i played at  "COMEDY CLUB" during a party and Manu Dibango was there. He came to me and  congratulated me when i told i was the one who made that remix . I precised him i had no intentions to release it without permissions, i remixed it just because i could not play it the way it was mixed originally. He said he loved cause it's funky. So enjoy it, and share it and don't be afraid to comment.

Three months after the release of Egyptian producer DJ Wah and Italian percussionist Devidrums' first collaborative set, Deep Fall, we're treated to two new takes on EP highlights. The men behind the record step up first to deliver a fresh rework of 'Midnight Hustle'. While the original is a languid, warming, bass-heavy shuffler underpinned by downtempo breaks, this new interpretation re-frames it as a lightly funky slab of mid-temop dub disco excellence. B side : "Don't You Know, Baby", a soul/funk party banger, with more percussive drums (originally "Don't Cha Know" by L.T.D).

Both tracks have been edited, re-drummed, and re-mastered for a stronger impact on the dancefloor, but always keeping the essence of the originals.

DJ Chill Pop is a dj from the late 80s. The 80's funk, breaks beats and hip hop music are his musical styles.

Chill Pop has made special appearances in most of the Clubs in Geneva but it was in 1991 where he really started sharing his passion by officiating in the Geneva Squats.

Since then, he has worked at festivals such as the Nyon festival, the Montreux jazz festival (the Jazz Café, the Cave Rock at the moment), the Cully jazz festival and of course all Geneva festivals are among his agenda.

Recognized for his superb craft also earned him some air time where during four years, he provided MIXES for radios One FM and Lausanne FM.

He occasionally mixes in Spain. La Coruña or Reina Sofia in Madrid.
