Hey everyone, Chinchilla here!  I want to make one thing very clear - ChinChilla is a record label, not an artist. We totally understand people being upset, but please understand that this is not our song, and it was certainly never our intention to rip off Barnacle Boi - we respect artists above anything else, and would never condone ripping off anyone elses' work.  Emerald Lake and Vablu brought this track to us and signed a contract stating that the music was 100% original, and that no samples were used in it’s creation. Today is the first time we’ve ever heard of Barnacle Boi; this track was released over two months ago and we never heard about this issue until right now. We do our very best to make sure that every artists we work with does not plagiarize or use infringe upon anyone elses works, but sometimes, especially with emerging artists, it’s not always possible for us to know the history behind every single song. Thank you to everyone for bringing this to our attention!

hey guys i appreciate your support, however chinchilla is not at fault whatsoever. they were completely unaware vablu had stolen my production and should not receive any shade. they have handled everything well and reinstated me as the collaborator of this track. the previous collaborator "vablu" was the culprit, and has deleted all of his socials since being called out.
