Since 2015, Viennese producer Alpha Tracks has used Cheap’s Morbid offshoot as fertile ground for his own (as well as his peers’) work. His sound straddles the space between 90s rave and ambient, two defining genres of the era, with relative ease and irrespective of more recent ephemeral trends. Flavoured with this buoyant nostalgia, Bassiani podcast 94 is an apposite blend of furious, superlative techno and euphoric dance bound to make you move.

Started this game a few months ago (haha read: Laure Croft presents tune raider) and I am super excited to share the recording of the set I played on my first gig. Never recorded anything, so hearing my own set for the first time myself was quite an experience! Also playing this first time on big sound system and having these new types of nerves and adrenaline rushing through my body, lead to some challenging moments during the set. I decided to post it, even though there are some minor mistakes in it, but hey, every game starts at level one. 

Would love to hear what you think of the set, and fyi: I’m a big fan of honest feedback.

Straight outta Dublin, Luke Tyrell, aka T-RAIL, graces us with a spicy mix for epiosde 126. Since the age of 17, T-RAIL has been honing his craft within some of the most reputable clubs and underground collectives the Irish capital city has to offer. Then at only 18 Luke decided to leap into the big zestful pond (or swamp?) that is Berlin, teeming with opportunity and promising new artistic avenues. Anyone who knows this man will see that he is a product of his environment, shaped by two captial cities and their respective traits to form a thoroughly original hybrid sound, fusing together the grittier side of things with groove and bounce. Después de tres meses volvemos con un nuevo episodio de ESPECTRO, esta vez presentando a Sugar, DJ y prolífico productor perteneciente a la escena fast techno de Copenhague, que después de su debut en el 2021 se convirtió inmediatamente en un amigo de la casa.

Con esta fina sesión quiso rendirle tributo a la que en sus palabras ha sido una de sus mejores noches como DJ, incluyendo canciones nuevas e inéditas de productores que admira, así como algunas canciones más antiguas que a su criterio funcionarían muy bien en la pista de BULTO.

The first edition of the Fast Forward Audio Series for this decade, we present to you a special collaborative effort between Viscerale and Adam Askov of Funeral Future, they named the mix "Life is not a Beach". It came about as the result of a close friendship that was formed a year ago.
The tracks featured in the mix were all fixtures at the local club Tuben back in the early ‘00s and have been superbly mixed by Viscerale. It’s a rare glimpse into a sound that preceded our own contributions to the Copenhagen techno.

Bio :

DJ since the early 2000s, Chill made his debut mixing hip-hop for more than 10 years both on the radio and in club. 2011 marks a musical turning point for Chill, who opened his mind to electronic music after discovering this music through the big clubs in Europe. It was a real revelation for him and it’s in 2014 that begins his adventure within this movement. He’s the co-founder of the collective Closely who launched undergrounds parties in Strasbourg during 4 years. This allowed him to gain experience by regularly sharing the booth with the big names of the electronic scene. In 2018, he becomes resident at KALT. He likes
to move the dancefloor with a nice selection of hypnotic and powerful techno.
