Here we go for our second release! On December 17, 2020, we will be pleased to bring Sérgio Walgood's new EP to the world.

The tracks CARBON, STELLAR RADIATION, THE TALKING STONE and DUST and PLASMA bring us a reflection on how life on Earth emerged and the history of human existence began. Understanding that all life on the planet is interconnected, is easy to question what has been the contribution of humanity to the evolutionary process of the planet.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

The sound designer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist, Sérgio Walgood, is a well known name in the worldwide chillout music scene Music producer and DJ with 15 self releases and tracks on many compilations around the globe.

Walgood currently develops projects that involve chillout, techno and psytrance music. He is one of the magicians behind the band OCO and also runs the projects Random Mode, Angular Momentum and coordinates the acclaimed Chillout Stage of the ZNA Gathering Festival.

Chilled C'Quence - Life Force @ UXMAL Records (MEXICO)

Chilled C’Quence are Pedro Matias and Fernando Rodrigues (dj Fluxö and Psyjar). Both have been connected to diferent aspects of music and technology since the beggining. 2 years after they met they started to produce music together on a project called Zero Sequence with Quest4Goa support.

In 2004 they decided to create a parallel project more focused on the ambient sound ,named Chilled C’Quence. Envolving voices, spacial melodies, mixed with crystal clear sounds, take the public to a journey of downbeat electronic rhythms.

Chilled C’Quence has demonstrated a strong consistency in their live shows, and also they have been showing great releases on several known labels,that discovered the musical message carried by these artists. They captured the attention of the English label Amboworld, where they released their debut album “Magic Sense”.
Their second album “Dream Triggers” was released on the Portuguese label Quest4Goa in 2008, and is still receiving good critics. In this work you can discover an uplifting ambient journey able to transpose you to an inner state. The album combines chilling harmonies with warm and progressive vibes, envolving voices, spacial melodies mixed with crystal clear sounds. An ideal choice for the early hours of the morning or/and for dancefloor opening.

After the success of these two albums we decided at Electrik Dream to propose you a digital re-edition of this two gems of Psychill Ambient Downtempo !!!
