Born in the height of Apartheid ,  the influence of Motown soul has fueled the soul driven production of DJ Rene who goes by the pseudo Chillifunk . From the days of good old vinyl in 90's rnb , hip hop and the birth of house continued to inspire the legend behind this brand . Today , soulful deep and afro house feeds his need  for "feel good sound " of yesteryear 

This is also the name of his Events and AV companies who are leaders of their game in the industry .
