Steve Pimenta, produtor e elemento integrante da LX MUSIC desde 2008, tem vindo a desenvolver o seu trabalho criando um portfólio musical vasto e variado, desde o House melancólico ao Techno de texturas escuras e sombrias. O ano de 2008 coincide com o lançamento do seu primeiro EP editado pela “Troia Recordings”. Os primeiros passos de Steve Menta foram paralelos ao crescimento da LX MUSIC tornando o seu trabalho cada vez mais exigente à medida que ia partilhando a cabine com artistas internacionais, entre os quais: Booka Shade, Oxia, Tiefschwarz, Dave Clark, Alan Fitzpatrick, Ambivalent, Joseph Capriatti, Gaiser entre muitos outros.
Enquanto que em Portugal o seu caminho era trilhado, do estrangeiro chegavam os primeiros ecos da sua música, com o suporte e louvor de vários artistas internacionais, tais como: Paco Osuna, Cristian Varela ou Nick Warren. Os seus temas continuavam a ser editados um pouco por toda a parte, destacando-se em países como Mexico e Brasil.
Em 2014 juntou forças com o seu amigo Spikers para fundarem o projecto “Blackgoat”, um projecto assente num registo Techno caracterizado por linhas melódicas e ácidas acompanhadas de ambiências obscuras.
Após muitos eventos em Portugal e da sua mais recente tour no Mexico, Steve encontra-se entre Rio de Janeiro e Lisboa onde continua a apresentar a sua música com um repertório cada vez maior de originais, apresentando-se como um artista cada vez mais experiente. Nos dias de hoje continua ligado à sua produtora e é parte integrante do projecto “LXM10 years”.

"Coffee. I don't think I could start a day without it. But that's a tough one seeing as though I love my craft beer these days."

"Albums are hard to choose. I usually go for my favourite sets from artists or DJ's. But I always return to The Mars Volta "De-Loused in the Comatorium". "

"Probably Modernism.
I love experimentation. Especially when it comes to music. I hate making the same sound twice."

"Can I choose none? Haha.
Opera if I had to choose. I respect the amount of talent that an opera singer has."

"I love high fantasy novels. Endless reading, And a lot of my track names come from reading high fantasy"
