Born in Los Angeles, CA in December 1984 of two very loving parents came Quionne ‘Chill’ Pittman. With the heavy influence of his parents, Chill at the early age of 3 began beating out syncopated patterns on anything he could find. Whether it was a T.V. commercial or the theme music to the many sitcoms that were playing on the television, he had rhythm and a keen ear for sounds even creating his own. While in elementary school, his parents presented him with his first set of drums along with 8 pairs of drumsticks from his play uncle the late Eulis ‘Soko’ Richardson. Soko encouraged him at every opportunity to continue and prompted him to listen to all genres of music and not to lock himself into one style. ‘All music is good music, you just need to feel it’ was something he always told him. Needless to say, with the versatility Chill displays in production, He never forgot. While attending Warren Lane Middle school in the 8th grade he began using an old Atari workstation to crank out his ideas and by his senior year at Inglewood High School, Chill was able to run full recording sessions with friends and clients at DoodleTown Studios, the L.A location his father produced from for many years.. As his production continued to expand, his way with words became a new priority for him as he began recording songs of his own and providing features for his father's artists. Performing at clubs such as the Troubador, Club Lingerie, The Key Club, Lush, and Cinespace to name a few, Chill has honed his very own style that can be compared to none.
