Chilly & Gams, Dialed In @ Apollo Studio, NYC

Eric Chinchilla (Chilly) & Austin Gambino (Gams) are the culmination of over a decade of friendship and international record digging. Having met on a rooftop in Brooklyn, Eric & Austin started out as ⅔ of a trio called CGC, quickly earning residencies with Strange People, Off The Record, and Rendezvous. They’ve had the opportunity to bring their energy to storied New York clubs such as Output, Good Room, Cielo, Bushwick AV, as well as the Berlin local’s choice, Golden Gate.

From the onset, their focus has been clear - no ego, get people moving. The crowd, the vibe, and the dancefloor are everything. In their view, the DJ’s ultimate goal is to make people dance. That’s why you can expect music that encourages energy and action on the dancefloor and mixing that allows people to focus on the party and not on the DJ. Their music selection is varied and international, featuring records picked up on their travels. Their style trends towards late 80s-90s house & techno, breaks, and when the time is right, some hip-hop and psychedelic downtempo. During the pandemic, they’ve massaged their sound in preparation for a new normal in 2021 & beyond, and Chilly has been heavily focused on his production and partnership with local labels with music to be released.
