Subject Identity was one of the many bands I've been in... Well, actually, this was one "my" bands, meaning I wrote about half of the music and lyrics (it explains the quality). Firmly Punk Rock, as we understood it at least. Recorded poorly to a cheap Fostex tape recorder in my brother's living room a really long time ago. So long ago I don't think I could grow a full beard yet.

Evan Duffy - Monstercat Piano Mix (Monstercat - Best of 2012)

This was an impromptu recording of Wayne Shorter's "Footprints" from February 2013.  It was recorded in drummer Terry Vinyard's recording studio using Logic Pro software. Terry did the recording setup, recorded and edited tracks where needed, and the did the final mix, and did a right fine job too. Mark Tucker, Phil Buonpastore and Terry Vinyard, also known as the "The Mark Tucker Trio," play in the Atlanta area, and long-time friend and musical associate Bruce Burney played lead and solo guitar on the tune.

I did this in one take, recording on Audacity. My intention was to just record it and play with it to see what I could change, I ended up just making a few mistakes and I didn't know what to do to fix them.

I should really go to a recording studio and hire people that know what they are doing.

Bohemian Rhapsody - Classical Guitar

Beginning at 23:30 on Saturday May 16th and through 3:00 Monday May 18th, 2009 Chilly Gonzales broke the Guiness World Record for longest concert by a solo artist. The previous record was 26 hours and 12 minutes and was performed by Prasanna Gudi (India) at the Mallikarjun Mansoor Kala Bhavan public auditorium, Dharwad, Karnataka, India from 28 to 29 December 2008.

Gonzales explained his motivation: “I will do this to push my musical and physical stamina. I believe music is part art, part athletics and this 27-hour concert will demonstrate both aspects.”

Gonzales had been consulting with the Guiness Book of Record to ensure a smooth attempt and an Official Guinness Judge adjudicated the event on site. Repertoire touched on recognizable songs from all eras and styles of music, in new and surprising arrangements. There was no repetition of material during the attempt. As Gonzales himself said “I will break the record without sounding like a broken record”.

The record attempt took place at the theatre of notable French film director Claude Lelouch, Theatre Ciné 13 in Paris. The attempt in its entirety was streamed live on the web and achieved #2 Twitter Trend status at its peak.
