opl2 song made for Winter Chip XVI earlier this year. It got 54th/318 overall, and 2nd/13 in the AdLib soundcard category!

I'm always surprised when these strange and dissonant entries of mine for things like that place high but I guess i shouldn't be at this point.

opl2 is probably my favorite soundchip, but one of the few things I don't like about it is it being exclusively mono. So for these soundcloud uploads I like to try things to turn them into a stereo experience! It doesn't always turn out great since the music wasn't intended to be heard that way, but i've liked trying different things. This one was making it so each channel is gradually changing between L/R positions at different rates from each other. A different method than I tried for the "Can You Defeat The PAIN CRYSTAL [RUINS DEFENSE MECHANISM2]? (no)" upload.

I made these songs in a commission for the streamer SquidHominid. She was such a joy to work with and I'm really proud of what I managed to create.

30th out of 84 in Sample Pack Contest XVI

this is my first time ever since i switched to renoise as my primary daw writing something that's contained all in one xrns (usually my workflow is very destructive and ends up as a bunch of separate xrns files stiched/layered together)

I am also proud to have also gotten 84th out of 84 in the same contest with my joke entry(lowest ranking position in spc HISTORY since this had more entries than any prior spc. and 3rd lowest score ever given to an spc entry as well)
