I recorded this song a couple weeks ago but the quality was so godawful I just had to replay it. Sounds much better!

This was originally intended to be a sea/pirate-themed song, but others have said it sounds Irish too. So, well, why not both?

I tried this thing where I'd pick two notes on the piano, and just go straight from there. I like how this one turned out.

Improv (05.13)

I took the notes from page 479 of House of Leaves and made a stream-of-consciousness song out of it. Recorded on the very first try, so there’s some fumbles (and many background noises and audio clip skips, weh). But I’m pretty happy with how it came out.

I realized much later after this recording what song the notes actually do play when done at the right tempo - and felt very silly about it! Take this improv with a grain of salt and consider it a different piece altogether.
