“With no luck in their search, the Child kept moving through the crystal cave, until it began to close into a tunnel. The final echoes of light from the glowworms began to fade out - it seemed the next portion of the Child's journey would not be blessed by their light. In the next area, icy white crystals lined the walls, and the air was frigid and bleak. Snow absorbed all the sound in the cavern, except the crunch of the Child's footsteps and the thoughts racing through their head. 

The Child felt a sense of isolation - like they had stumbled into a place once filled with life, lost to an eternal winter. There was no contentment or warmth in this part of the cavern - simply ice and decay.  Their hope was beginning to fade out, and they pondered whether this Crystal Heart was meaningful at all… or even real. What if this was all for nothing - would they be tethered to their simple life in the forest forever?  Regardless, the Child pushed forward, alone with their thoughts and doubts…”
