Otohōnō, (oto = sound, hōnō=offering or dedication) is a celebration. A compendium of five years of collaboration between Chimi Jo and Chameshi Ji, Studio Chirika, and Yupica.

Oftentimes inspired by Japanese tradition, Chimi Jo explores improvisation, loops and synth pads to create out of this plane atmospheres.

This album was the result of a Young Artists grant (FONCA) in 2014.

The idea was to record samples of toy instruments and use them in different ways.

The software used for this project was Ableton Live and Adobe Audition.
The hardware, an M-Audio KeystationPro 88, a Novation Launchpad Mini, a M-Audio Oxygen 25, and a Casio Privia.
