🎧ABOUT AUDIOADDICTZ🎧 

AudioAddictz Live was established in 2013, however AudioAddictz was many things before this. 

It originates from around 2003 where it started as a forum for audio producers who were new to the scene, members could share resources and techniques for production. 

They then expanded on this by creating AudioAddictz Radio, This aimed to help new artists by providing a platform to share their creative talent with the world via the digital dance floor. 

Then after many years of 24/7 radio shows they moved things up another notch. 

They created AudioAddictz Live as a family. 

The concept at AudioAddictz Live is Balance. 

They strive to bring this to the dance floor via an equal balance of male and female artists, both on-stage and behind-the-scenes.

This balance is also achieved via booking new and upcoming artists along with well established artists on the underground dance music scene. 

On May 13th 2023 AudioAddictz Live will be 10 years old and AudioAddictz as a concept will be 20. 

Something Different are super excited to have the AudioAddictz family onboard to celebrate this awesome occasion in 2023.

Since the early nineties Angus has been at the heart of the underground psychedelic scene, and was often to be found loading up pack horses or camels with sound systems to play 14 hour dat sets in various mountain ranges, deserts and roadless beaches around the world. His music reflects his genuine passion for life itself and his love of pushing the boundaries of experience with faith and relentless positivity wherever he goes. Now firmly on board with The Nano records family with more collabs and solo releases in the pipeline… the future looks like a whole lotta fun!

China Rose is the project of Rebecca Broadbent who was born in England in 1989.
 
From a young age, she took lessons in classical piano, flute, violin and singing, before composing her own music and songs at the age of 13. When she was 19, she took to the stage with her piano in clubs and bars across the North East of England, performing her compositions and acoustic versions of her songs. She carries her many years of classical music experience with her to this day, to create a fusion of classical influences with electronic sounds.
 
She first discovered the hypnotic and enchanting world of psychedelic trance when she was 16 years old, and later began DJing at parties and club nights. She subsequently took classes in music production where she developed and cultivated her skills. She now produces psychedelic trance, describing her style as a combination of ethereal night psy and euphoric twilight. Melodies are a prominent feature in her tracks, coupled with driving energy and nocturnal sounds.
 
She released her first track with South African label Terror Hippie Records in 2021 as part of a compilation featuring various artists. She subsequently signed with Cape Town’s MMD Records in the same year.
 
Her debut E.P "Dark Whispers" was released in 2021 and reached number 3 on the BeatPort psytrance releases chart. That was followed in 2022 by her second E.P, "Deadly Nightshade" which peaked at the same position in the chart. 
 
Her third E.P “Queen of Darkness” was released in 2023 with Kaos Krew Records and reached number 1 on the BeatPort psytrance releases chart.
 
Her fourth E.P "fairy core" was released by herself independently, and reached number 4 on the BeatPort psytrance releases chart.

Her fifth E.P "Tears of Lilith" will be another independent release, and shall be available across all major music platforms from 10th January 2024.

In 2022, she began a collaboration project – “Fallen Angel” - with South African producer Andre Muller, aka Singularity. The debut E.P from that project was released on 30th August 2023 and reached number one on the BeatPort psytrance chart. In the same year, she started her ambient project, “the Story of the Rose”.
 
China Rose has performed in her home country as well as in South Africa, including at Alien Safari’s legendary New Year’s Eve party, Little Forest Festival. She is part of the UK-based AudioAddictz roster.
 
China Rose’s music draws influence from the organic sounds of nature and the darkness of human experiences. She describes all her music, on some level, as expressions of her journey to try to find light in the darkness, whether that be the darkness in the world, or darkness within ourselves. She is passionate about the legacy and origins of South African trance music, and believes that music within the twilight genre can be enjoyed either when the sun is rising, or when the sun is setting, depending on where the night has taken you…
