One night last summer as I was coming back from a gig north of Toronto I felt inspired to pull over for a few minutes on an empty county road, get out and practice some long notes while watching fireflies in the distance. The next day first riff came to my mind and the rest followed. 

Kaleidoscope is based on live improvisation mixed with looped motifs and effects, acoustic instruments, electric guitars, bass, drums, percussion, synths, and loop pedals. This is a studio recording of Fireflies.
