With a sharp eye for digging and an ever growing catalogue of contemporary productions, al dente cements himself as a significant contributor to the prosperous Naarm/Melbourne scene. 

We have been long time admirers of the curation of the https://soundcloud.com/neurocrankk mix series which al dente is 1/3 of. Here the trio have invited numerous outstanding artists to produce some of their best work, enabling the series to demand anticipation for every new mix.
 He also works alongside https://soundcloud.com/billy-howard-392748182 in their https://soundcloud.com/neb-u-la project. This collaboration has compiled their mutual appreciation for prog trance, tech house, minimal and much more. As a result, pushing the capabilities of club experiences and reinvigorated forgotten tracks.

With his individual work, al dente engages with his favourite projects and labels to produce an authentic representation of his forever developing sonic journey. 
The mix also incorporates some recent productions of his own, of which are expected to be released later this year and within the next. 

We are really lucky to share this work!

When we talk about identity and elaborated universes with coherence, two names cames naturally. 
The first one, Dream Software, is a brilliant graphic designer with an over marked identity, and his universe borrows his mixes of a very particular flavor as soon as it is a question of appreciating a work within a coherent whole. sånti co-head of Karagi crew and its mix serie drawings lulled with a delicious drollery. This fits perfectly with its weird leftfield dub & rock experimentations but also with every attempt to explore trancey and mental sonorities. 
For the 30th mixes they meet around a soaring and mindwave music.

"I tried to record it before my recently trip to Brazil and couldn’t finish…I was lacking inspiration, always thinking this or that track were incoherent to each other. I left Canada in a strange mood because of the lockdown and the winter coming…. My animal heart was telling me to do something. 

I recorded this mix few days after a spiritual ceremony with aboriginals from the Amazon, the Huni Kuin. You’ll hear moment of enlightment, moment of beauty and moment of "Saudade”, a special word for brazilians. A word I really feel connected to as I am often in a state of nostalgia and endearment. You can "feel" saudade. You can "have" saudade. You can be an “experiencer” of saudade. You can almost be a "victim" of saudade…. Saudade is a very “flexible” word. 

Finally, I think those tracks are cinematic in the sens that they always bring me somewhere else… 

Anyways, I hope you’ll like it !
