Returning to Purified Records, Amsterdam-based artist Milan Steenwinkel unveils his ‘Broken Dreams’ EP - a striking two-track release that firmly establishes his place within the melodic techno landscape. Featuring ‘Broken Dreams’ and ‘Stories Left Behind’, the EP delivers a powerful blend of cinematic emotion and dancefloor intensity. Both tracks are driven by soaring melodies, tight percussion, and an underlying sense of momentum that reflects Milan’s signature balance of emotion and energy. With this fresh release, he brings a bold and expressive sound to the label - rooted in melodic and progressive influences and crafted with a clear artistic vision.

The ‘Broken Heart’ EP artwork is a photograph taken by Juan Mora of oceanic manta rays (Mobula birostris) in Revillagigedo National Park, Mexico. A Colombian biologist, UW photographer, and expedition leader, Juan has dedicated his life and work to ocean advocacy. His camera serves as a powerful tool to share his passion and highlight the importance of protecting our planet.

This mission is shared by COBI (Comunidad y Biodiversidad) (@cobi_mx), a Mexican NGO rooted in community and driven by a deep commitment to ocean conservation. By working hand in hand with coastal fishers, advancing sustainable practices, and generating knowledge through participatory science, COBI helps safeguard marine life and the livelihoods that depend on it. Their work is a powerful reminder that when real people on the frontlines lead, conservation becomes not just possible, but enduring.

Making his debut on Purified Records, Swiss DJ and producer Khainz delivers ‘Fall To You’ - a euphoric and emotionally charged vocal cut that blends grit with finesse. Known for his impact on the global techno scene, Khainz brings his distinctive touch to the label with a track that pairs a deep, driving bassline with heady melodic elements and an indie-tinged edge. Uplifting yet raw, ‘Fall To You’ strikes a perfect balance between dancefloor power and atmospheric depth, marking an exciting first step in his journey with Purified.

The ‘Fall To You’ artwork features a photograph taken by Brooke Pyke of large breakers hitting the edge of the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia. Brooke is an award-winning marine life photographer from Australia, based on Ningaloo Reef in WA. With a background in diving, she now focuses on ocean, travel, and adventure photography, capturing the beauty of the underwater world since 2014.

Stretching over 260 kilometers, Ningaloo is one of the longest fringing reefs in the world, home to an extraordinary diversity of marine life and vibrant coral ecosystems. Protecting this unique environment is at the heart of the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) (@marineconservation.au), one of the country’s most influential ocean protection groups. For over 60 years, AMCS has led national efforts to preserve marine biodiversity, defend threatened species, and secure lasting protections for critical habitats.

Having caught Voorn's attention some time ago, Paradoks now steps into the Spectrum spotlight with a track that perfectly captures his evolution as an artist.
