ACE provides a platform for indoor acoustic gigs with an audience that comprises of interns that TCS takes from all across the globe; this is the third consecutive time that AFM had performed at ACE and this was just a way of saying 'Good Evening' to all with a promise of some fresh acoustic music'fire'works in the next hour that we were on stage. 

Inspired by the original "Shaam" from the Bollywood movie "Aisha" sung by Nikhil D'souza and directed by Amit Trivedi, AFM decides to use the new instrument addition with them id est Ukulele to recreate a perfect evening bonfire and la la acoustic environment. Performing this song was more like a trip through various tasty chords and moods that kept changing at every verse. Thoroughly enjoyed by Nikhil, Sourya and Prakhar while playing the instruments for they learned a lot, practiced a lot and made ocean full of mistakes with retakes, funny winks, blank looks, sadistic pleasures, tired eyes, hurt fingers, half laughs, full laughs, corrections, discoveries and multiple orgasms. Finally, Lekshmi took the egg shaker to join others with the instrumentation and figured the above mentioned.

Nupur carries a peculiar texture in her voice that gives a lot of folk touch to her singing. Maintaining the tone, she keeps a constant touch of power and throw in her voice all throughout her performance. All the more reason that at Live stage she sometimes loses her voice towards the end. 
Suggested by Nupur, AFM decided to do this song after the MTV Unplugged version was out that seemed quite interesting. A faster reggae version of the original Bollywood song had lot of new musical elements added by Mikey, but AFM picked it up well from the first jam. Nupur has really good comfort bracket with the live musicians, she judges music cues really well and keeping her voice intact it is a piece of cake for this gal to take on any challenge up on live stage. The song is very well taken at the audience but Nupur keeps quite professional on the stage and shows absolutely no naughtiness while performing making it all the more difficult for her boy fans to approach her. 
At Marathon, the song was covered and telecast by Zee News as a representative number for AFM. We were the only band to have received an on stage interview from a news channel that day thanks to our mind boggling sound check.
