Chintan is a senior disciple of Pandit Uday Bhawalkar, a standard bearer for Dhrupad, the most ancient form of Indian Classical Music. Shail has been studying with Udayji since 2009. This recording was made in December 2017 on a farm in Gujarat, India - you can hear the birds and even a train half way through! Todi is a beautiful morning raga. We hope you enjoy this.
