After the surprise success of Scrimshire's autumn-celebrating EP in 2021, the prolific producer and label manager has written a new set of songs that expand the concept record into a full length album. 

Introducing this new release is the gentle, picked guitars of Hazel. A piece that draws so many of Scrimshire's influences together from lo-fi folk to cinematic jazz and beyond. An atmospheric and dream-like journey into the autumn world Scrimshire clearly loves so much. 

The full length album will be released in October, featuring the Guy Garvey favourite Hornbeam.

Musician, producer and vocalist Alfa Mist has announced his new album, Roulette, out 3rd October on his own label, Sekito Records.  Roulette is a sci-fi concept album set in a dystopian near-future where reincarnation is a scientifically proven fact.  Conceived, written and produced by Alfa, the record also features New York rapper Homeboy Sandman, British soul star Tawiah, and vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Kaya Thomas-Dyke.

First taste '9 Months' features Alfa rapping about reincarnation from the point of view of Yara, the main character in his imagined Roulette universe, whilst 'Avoid The Drones' is a hypnotically beautiful instrumental number.  "In my world of short stories, where reincarnation is proven and real, 9 Months explores corruption over different lifetimes, and Avoid The Drones finds Yara attempting to hide who she was in a past life”, explains Alfa.
