“Repetend” is a project developed during the residency period in Cité Internationale des arts. I took portable recorders out to parks, subway stations, streets and other public spaces in Paris and separately made individual recordings in the same place for 24 hours, then condensed the recordings into abstract noises. These "Time-lapse Phonography" soundtracks are the result of condensing 24-hour long files, originally recorded in public and private places in Paris, through a 256 times speed acceleration. They attempt to illustrate the rhythm of place and space, and the variation occurring between urban soundscapes.

This project is in cooperation with The Voyerist, and supported by Taiwan Minstry of Culture.

2017 衛武營委託製作《工業城市》階段性呈現插曲。這首曲子由Glitch碎拍、木琴打擊、中提琴等音色構成。在音樂設計上，想透過重複單調的和弦進行，以及取樣自高雄重工業機械聲音的節奏聲響，來呈現於規律中卻仍時有錯誤衝突對比。

Traction

Lightscape is a generative music project that converts the lights in a city into the sound in the nighttime. This track was transformed from the route that I passed by daily during the artist in residency in Laboral Center, Gijon. I recorded all the light resources included the streetlights, vehicles, signboards, alarms, windows...and sonified these data into the flow of sounds.

The generative music system transformed the flow of light points in the panoramic video into corresponding resonances. It creates an immersive environment that illustrates the "everyday feeling” through the relationship between sensory experience and external structures within the city in a generative way.

The original installation was in 8 channel surrounded configuration, but this recording was captured by a Zoom H4N stereo recorder.

One of the results in the workshop of "Everyday Trace" public arts project lead by Taiwanese artist Chi Po-Hao, cooperated with Ting Shuo Studio. This is part of "Open Window Open Arts" project hosted by NTU Art Center.

Group Improvisation

A short live recording retrieved from "Duplex Transmission" interactive performance at Shong-Shan Creative Part(松山文創園區), originally presented with 8 channel Ambisonics setting.

The soundscape and effects were co-created by the performer and the audience. The audience was able to affect and generate audio effects by modulating and triggering an interactive webpage with their personal mobile devices.
