Here's a sweet little song called Sandcastle for a Crab. This was a collaboration with a young musician songwriter friend of mine named Sammy Recio. Sammy shared this tune with me all about a sandcastle for a crab and it just kind of stayed with me and so I added a little bit and before you knew it we had a song. I asked Sammy and his parents if he would be interested in recording together in my studio and he agreed. This is the result we hope you like it.

Smile Behind My Mask is Chip's new single for kids and adults and anyone really who might be feeling a little anxious or uneasy about the idea of people wearing masks in public spaces and maybe having to wear one yourself.
Chip says, "I wrote this song over a few days, and most of it while watching the daily Covid-19 briefings with Ohio Governor Mike Dewine and Health Director Dr Amy Acton. They were talking a lot about masks and how important it was going to be for all us to be participating. I was just imagining how odd the world was going to look with everyone wearing masks... then I thought if I'm thinking and feeling this way what are kids going to be thinking? I hope this song will help bring a little calm to a potentially scary or anxious situation for children and grownups."

The song was recorded and tracked virtually connecting Groove House Studio, Kensington Ohio, Real Life Studio- Canton, Oh and Improv Studio- Columbiana, Oh all connecting to and tracking in Chip's Nutshell Studio- Columbiana, Oh. Chip explains, "We were all like everybody else, on lock-down or isolation so I thought maybe we could record this tune together virtually and that's what we did. It was actually pretty cool and I think it came out great! I had to keep it simple but that really works for this song."
