Some mixes are horrible I know, but it's 16 years ago :-D
I was so nervous but had a great feeling feeling at the end of my set because everybody was so supportive!

Chiq has always been a huge music-lover and his interest in electronic music started very early in his life because his older brother was a dj too... 
Hearing his brother spinnin' triggered the need for him to play his own sets... and so he did!

At the age of 14 he bought his first records and he saved all his money for a pair of decks and a mixer. After playing some small local gigs and mixing at a few bars and cafés, including Bananas in Lier, his first residency, he got picked-up by the successful Dreamworx parties in Heist-op-den-Berg and soon clubs saw great potential in him.

He became a resident dj at Club Delite in Halen and made the Gorgeous room to a big hit thanks to his mixture of uplifting house, golden classics with an eclectic twist. When the club had to close due to issues with the owner of the building, he could display his skills at the infamous Club Illusion in Lier where he got into the groove as a resident DJ on Fridays and stand-in on Saturdays. 
When that club was also forced to close he could show off his skillset @ Club Carat (formerly known as AfterClub Carat).

Also, with his alter-ego AmbiHans, he is booked a lot for private-parties where he tends to mix urban tracks and dance-releases with some disco and rock-music, allround so to say!   

in 2020 he got together with some friends and they started "We Love Music", a collective that initially started out as a live-stream during covid-times. But later on they started throwing parties in the region of Antwerp with only one goal: 
To just have fun playing music you like yourself!

He's booked a lot on cool festivals and events like Tomorrowland, Tentaçao @ La Rocca, This is 90's,  Razzia, Gold, Summerbeatz, BEACHLAND, City Parade, Candybar, BBC, ... 

He has shared the decks with superstar dj's such as: Eric Prydz, Martin Solveig,
Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, , Yves V and many more.
