Somebody To Praise (lobsterdust Mashup)

One of the few truly decent remixes of  "Edge of Seventeen," which has suffered under less than capable, mostly amateur, hands and sonically challenged ears. Mync( Mark Brown & Nick Corelli) hoped to release this Nicks mix, but couldn't obtain the legal clearance from Warner, which had just asked Nicks to deliver a second greatest hits package.  The label commissioned new remixes of  "Stand Back" (a top five dance hit in 1983 & 2007) and "Edge' was earmarked as a follow-up, but Warner still has no plans to release them. Mync adjusted their  "Edge" rework, lyrics were rewritten and a new singer was drafted to sing the new composition "Something On Your Mind." That's how babies are born.

The incredible amount of effort documenting The Golden Age Of House helped reignite my love for all things dance with so much of the music that has made such a positive difference in my life.
