Having tracked Kiku Records’ progress for some time now a distinct thread of quality runs through their releases. The clean yet warm production values are a must and Tome R is an artist that more than shares this ethos. The Croatians ear for a reduced groove while still applying a soft touch to the finer aspects of his tracks is a real talent. With Lomdit EP we have arrived at Levi Verspeeks 3rd solo record. Three times a charm and so it will be when it crashes onto the dancefloor with tech triumph Tamtam named after an unknown friend. 2nd track Octo's slick, oozing groove sees right through you and pillages the floor with metal percussion. No later than 6 and a half minutes after you will be met by God's choir singing it's chorus: We Smell Sausage. Watch out that you don't get dipped by that foxy break halfway through! Knock knock. Who's there? Hmmm. Hmmm who? Hmmm, the last track on Lomdit, and IT KNOCKS!

His forthcoming release will be out via HouseOnWax as a part of a four-track vinyl-only compilation that features tracks from Alex Ranerro, Ale Castro, Deep Mariano and R.A.P.

With releases on labels such as Visionquest, Home Invasion, Poker Flat Recordings and his Blind Box, Julien has been really putting a name for himself lately. His next track "Metis", which will be out via HouseOnWax, is a groovy tune with a strong low-end foundation. Drum elements are nicely glued together with pulsating background pad which holds the tension throughout the tune. Listening to this tune, we almost got a feeling that we're driving through an endless tunnel where synth plucks works as a warm light.

To kick things of nicely, our first release is an edit of one of our all time favorites, Massive Attack's 'Teardrop'. And just like any of our previous edits, it will be for free forever.

This edit received some great support over the past months so we're really happy to get this one finally out, at the beginning of what's going to be a promising year for everyone, in many different ways. 

Den Haas once again proves his versatility with this unique interpretation of the original. With the dramatic vibe of the original taken into account, he has made a version that will linger for a long time onwards, after a decent night out.

As gifted on the decks as he is in the studio, CHKLTE approaches music with a delicateness that defies his towering stature. With vibrant, seductive blooms and deep, syrupy booms, his subtleties climb into the ear like tendrils. Jonathan began sneaking into South Texas clubs at the age of 15 to DJ after countless hours of digging through online archives.

In 2012, he became a resident of Austin TX and quickly became a regular guest DJ across the state. CHKLTE is now a resident DJ behind the infamous Blacktone agency & party series that sparked out of Austin Texas, which regularly hosts the likes of Dyed Soundorom, Nicolas Lutz, Francesco Del Garda, tINI, Raresh, Praslea , Lamache and Robin Ordell.

The move from Jonathan to CHKLTE spurred a series of releases on labels such as OGE, We R The Aliens, Personality Disorder, Vatos Locos, Solid Grooves Raw, Moonfruit, Floorpiece Digital, Melotherapy and Honne Music to name a few. He has also launched 2 labels in recent years, a vinyl format label; CHOKO, and ChokoDIGI - a digital label exclusively through bandcamp, where you can find personal edits & originals.

CHKLTE is now based between Ibiza & the US and can often be found controlling the dance floors of Fabric London, Hi Ibiza, DC-10 Ibiza, Sunwaves Festival in Romania, Epizode & UNUM festivals in Albania, ADE in Amsterdam, Club der Visionaere, as well as Mexico, Canada, London, Czech Republic & Bulgaria. He can be often found on lineups alongside Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Dyed Soundorom, Gescu, The Martinez Brothers, Voigtmann, Nu Zau, tINI, Herodot, Priku, Afriqua & many more.
