Snoop has always had a huge influence on my musical taste. One of the first live concerts I ever went to as a kid was a S-N-double-oh-P D-oh-double-G show. Funny story, he got so high in his trailer beforehand, it took him 2 hours to snap out of it to perform. He's a rap icon that remains relevant and I have nothing but respect for his grind.

CHKLZ (chuck-les) is a DJ/Production/Live Music Duo that was founded on the premise that "CHKLZ IS FOR EVERYONE!” 

Since their inception in 2020, the Doggies have been carefully curating their unique vibe of Bubblegum House. Their signature “live shows” are always full of Pawsitive, high energy vibes, and include the use of live percussion/drums, live FX, original visuals, and crowd Pawticipation that always get the Doggies going on the dance floor. 

From Phoenix, Arizona, USA, the dynamic duo of DJ iLL Choppo and LeMarshawn Jean first grew close, sharing ideas of CHKLZ while touring the globe from 2018 - 2022 as musicians in the world famous heavy Nedal band, Okilly Dokilly, a band that has accolades like Rolling Stone and being featured on the end credits of a Simpsons episode in April 2019.

Since 2022, CHKLZ has quickly become a U.S. Southwestern house music touring and production machine, with the duo notching several festival performances at Friendzy Fest (Canada), Goldrush, Decadence, Gem & Jam, and June Jam, and have had their music played at festivals like Shambhala, Wicked Woods, and Future Forest.

In 2023, CHKLZ has already completed two headlining tours in Mexico and support tours/dates with Pineo & Loeb (Canada) in the US, Mexico, and Canada, as well as several festival dates, with more touring to round out the year, as they continue to spread their infectious brand of Bubblegum House around the globe.
