When it comes to dealing with negativity, one of the most helpful things I've learned to do is become aware of the perspective from which I'm viewing it. In my experience, Negative situations become a lot more manageable when their thought of as challenges towards self-improvement rather than problems.

In addition, learning to focus more on the blessings, and remembering that there's a whole world of people dealing with different struggles that are not only surviving, but thriving definitely provides a boost of strength.

Probably one of the most recent songs I've created and hopefully that's reflected in the nature of the song, lyrically and sonically. I actually started writing this song at the gym because I decided to go on YouTube and look for some beats on my phone and the hook formulated in my head almost immediately.
These days w song creation, I don't really look for a concept, but rather just mumble some phrases and see what they reflect. The line "I do not fear the sun" was a metaphor for a feeling of intense strength and improved self confidence from going thru some shit and continuing to blossom and became the seed from which the rest of the song sprouted. Like I mentioned above, I found this song was about being in a negative space, but learning to look at life thru a more positive lens. I can definitely say that the law of attraction is some real shit, and you get what you expect. Now, I don't mean to say you gotta be on some fake positivity, but you first gotta become aware of your state of mind, and then actively want to find the positive perspective if that isn't already the case. Life becomes much more of an adventure when you learn to do that.
