This month's guest is Kyoto-based Iryoku. In her own words: "As a child, I had insomnia but I became a narcoleptic at puberty". Her inner landscapes are Osaka, where she was born and raised, and Hong Kong, which she used to visit at least once a year before the Handover. Her influences include poets Gozo Yoshimasu and Octavio Paz, and writers Kenji Nakagami, Gilles Deleuze and Pierre-Félix Guattari. She has had mixes released on respected underground labels such as Black Smoker and Altzmusica. Her selections appeal to all senses, often collaged with field recordings and spoken word: while retaining an experimental approach, they flow effortlessly, with an extraordinary cinematic quality. She plays the first hour, followed by a free-form ambient mix by Sobriety.

This episode's guest for the first half is Chiba-based DJ KURI for a mystical trip between ambient soundscapes, avant-garde electronics and spiritual jazz. A respected figure in the Japanese underground music scene, KURI is known for his marathon vinyl-only sets. His eclectic, mesmerizing selections range from experimental and meditative sounds to deeply organic, soulful grooves, down to the darkest edges of deep techno.

Tokyo-based, Paris-born Chloé Juliette has learned her art with the greatest Japanese selectors. She has carved herself a unique position as a DJ who can do it all, bridging the gap between free jazz, acid house and deep-listening soundscapes. Usually found at Tokyo's audiophile venues, she also moonlights as a talk-show host on DOMMUNE, decoding French culture in the post-social media age. Her DJ mixes have been released on numerous radio stations and labels. She is a member of the party collective WAIFU, which aims to create safer nightlife spaces for trans, queer and femme folks.

東京在住、フランス出身のDJ、セレクター。フロアで体験した数々の奇跡をきっかけにスタートしたDJとして「広く深く」ジャンルに縛られず、イベントオーガナイザー、モデルとしても幅広く活動中。ジャンルレスでディガー精神あふれる選曲を得意とする。数多くの海外のラジオやレーベルにてゲストミックスをリリースしている。DOMMUNEではSNS以降のフレンチカルチャーの今世紀的先端解読を試行する新番組「Nouveau DICTIONNAIRE français」のレギュラーMCを務める。セイファースペースを目指すクィア＆フェミメインテーマとしたパーティーコレクティブ「WAIFU」の主催メンバー。
