Thank You Lord for this term in the training,
For everything You’ve done behind the scenes.
You have arranged all of this perfectly—
Above all we could ask or think.
We give You all of 2114,
To look away from all the outward things.
Dispense Yourself into our inner being,
Until Your life in us is seen.

Lord, here we are—we’re all for You!
Gain Your heart’s desire, and spread in us too.
Keep us pursuing with those,
And make all our hearts Your home.
We love You Lord! Our dear Bridegroom!
Bring us on, dear Lord, to seek only You.
We give our house to You
For Your purpose true.

Lord Jesus, gain in us your dwelling place,
Build us up corporately to run the race.
Transform us, Lord, possess us through and through—
We consecrate this house to you.
We give you all of 2114,
That we would be part of your building.
Supply us, knit us with your life today,
Build up the church with us, we pray.

there is a person who is living inside of me, 
and this One simply wants me to see 
from the beginning there is one thing He’s wanted to gain–– 
God in man, man in God.

I’ve been so blinded, shut in with the things of my life 
but He’s looking for ones who will build 
go to the mountain, bring wood, and build up His house–– 
God in man, man in God.

in my daily life He comes to me, 
makes His home, settles down in my heart, 
He bears my burdens, gives grace, 
and it’s all for one thing–– 
God in man and man in God.

in the beginning our God was only divine–– 
coinhering Divine Trinity.
but for His dwelling, He wants to be blended with man–– 
God in man, man in God.

eternal purpose fulfilled in the firstborn Son 
our Lord Jesus, the first God-man 
His life, a pattern to us of a person who lived 
God in man, man in God.

He became a man, stepping into time, 
blending human and divine, 
He lives in me, now this life 
can be mingled with mine–– 
God in man and man in God.

incorporation––Triune God and tripartite man, 
divinity with humanity, 
He’s dispensing His life into all of my being–– 
God in man, man in God.

conformation, from myself to the One whom I love 
and He makes me the same as He.
He transforms me, so others around me can see 
God in man, man in God.

and it’s no longer I alone that live, 
God together is living with me! 
He brings me through every day 
to the end of this age–– 
God in man and man in God.

the consummation of building the Body of Christ, 
she shines with the glory of God. 
the holy city, the New Jerusalem–– 
God in man, man in God.

Come! to the fountain, to drink of the water of life, 
say the Spirit and the bride. 
they speak together, this is God’s only goal in time–– 
God in man, man in God.

coming down out of heaven prepared as a bride, 
she’s adorned for her Bridegroom’s delight. 
this is Christ and the church, 
it’s a romance divine. 
Lord come quickly, we love you! 
come quickly, come soon…

There’s a romance, 
His word a love letter addressed to me. 
There’s an inquiry, 
He invites me to love Him, romantically. 
Just “Come and see,” 
But this tide of love’s met with apathy. 
Yet He draws me still, And I’m running after Thee until…

“This time, this is bone of My bones  And flesh of My flesh.” This time, she’s the same as He is,
This time. 
Eventually,  He’ll marry His people, His bride to be.  It’s a mystery,  God and man joined as one in eternity.  Sweet mingling: Men of clay shine with His bright glory.  But until that day,  ”Lord, I love you” until He’ll say…

Let Him kiss me
With the kisses of His mouth through His speaking.  He draws me  With cords of a man so subjectively.  I see His face And I can't help but love Him, helplessly.  I am His, He’s mine! There is Christ and the church this time…

Jehovah has set His affection on you,
choosing you before the world began
to be holy like Him, without blemish, in love––
one with Him, the same as Him, His masterpiece.
God fell in love with you and me,
in our bridal days, our wandering,
still betrothed to Thee.

who are you, Lord? who are you to me?
here I am, just as I am; I look away.
what shall I do? what’s your will for me?
take my heart and let it be held by you completely.
to give you my future without reserve,
I’m captivated, charmed by Thee;
your will be done through me.

“rise up, My love, and come away;
there’s no need to stay out in the rain.
the rain is gone, the winter past.
come to Me, come and see, and you shall be
My personal treasure, My dwelling place.
how beautiful! I have loved you 
with everything I am.”

Lord, make me willing to come away––
to follow you, my life for you, what a “waste.”
bring me to ashes, let nought remain.
daily change my inward being until I see
you come in that day, coming as a thief,
to be occupied and lost in you,
precious in your eyes.
