My name is Craft and this week we present Geometer from Taipei in Taiwan.

He is an American producer who is inspired by emerging technologies and experimental electronic artists. He has been performing live acts for several years in Taipei and North America alongside international artists. His live setup consists of an array of hardware devices and this set consists of his productions and segments of live recordings, 
But right now with it’s time to Feed The Raver. Enjoy!”

Bio:
Geometer is Kyle Kaplan. He was heavily involved in classical music in earlier years, but exposure to emerging technologies and experimental electronic artists redirected his focus towards the creative possibilities of digital tools and new media. From 2011-2014, Geometer had been based in Taipei, Taiwan, where he played numerous parties and festivals with various artists, including Rrose, Recondite, Kangding Ray, Efdemin, Samuel Kerridge and others,  Preferring the transparency and streamlined approach of a laptopless performance, Geometer’s live setup consists of an array of hardware devices. He presently lives in a snow covered forest in the Northeastern US where he is pursuing a master’s at Dartmouth, focusing on generative composition, music information retrieval, and audiovisual synthesis.
