The Slow Burn is The Black Soft's 4th studio release under their record label Terror Of The Understood ( TOTU Records), and is the longest to date, having 12 tracks total. The album is more emotionally driven than the previ-
ous albums. The music is bigger, the vocals are more difficult, the subject matter is brutally honest. The songs are about relationship violence, overdosing, diseases, prostitution, sexuality and always “love”. This is a journey not out of the dark, but more a a survival tail for those of us living in the dark. Just like life, the album plays like a slow burning cigarette.
