I recorded a version of "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse, one of my favourite artists.

Everyone knows I love Amy Winehouse! I like the '68 Version (from the posthumous Lioness: Hidden Treasures album) better than the original. It's more chill :)

My vocal cover of "You Know That I'm No Good", one of my favourite Amy Winehouse songs. It's not often that I'm particularly happy with one of my recordings, but I'm really pleased with this one.

This is an extremely beautiful song that I wanted to try singing. The original is sung in a very gentle, breathy way by Goi, and anyone who knows my voice will know that that's the opposite of my usual style! I wanted to try and sing it in a similar gentle way to Goi, while still maintaining my own singing style. It's very different to how I usually sound! 
This is also a very emotional song and I tried to convey that, too. I hope I came close to succeeding :)

Original by Tanya Donelly. If you don't know it, I strongly recommend checking it out as it's wonderful! 

Not quite the same without the backing music, but there's no instrumental version and I can't play the guitar anymore! :) 
Gave this a quick go for a bit of fun after a long session of singing practice. Not perfect by any means, but passable for a first try! 
Recorded in one take, at home, and unedited except to remove microphone hiss.

After Your Party (acapella) (Tanya Donelly cover)

I don't have my good mic with me at the moment, but thought I'd record a bit of my singing practice earlier. I used my laptop's built-in mic so it's a little fuzzy and echoey. 
The song is "Oxygen" by JJ72. The only editing done was to remove noise and equalise the volume slightly but it still gets a bit loud and buzzy towards the end!
