Gradually evolving over the course of seven hypnotic minutes, Dansson & Marlon Hoffstadt’s "Shake That," released in March 2014, utilizes deceptively simple elements – the irresistible rolling bassline, stripped-back beats and an imaginative vocal sample from Nate Dogg’s "Get Up" – to create an addictive, pop-driven take on deep house. Remixes by Mark Knight, Oliver $, Shadow Child and Blonde followed the release – and now, Tom Staar’s previously unreleased remix is available for fans and DJs alike.

Staar premiered his “Shake That” remix on Steve Angello’s BBC Radio 1 residency show in February. His unique electro spin on the infectious tune has gotten spins from artists including Laidback Luke, Tiësto, Axwell & Ingrosso, Tommy Trash and NERVO, and has left fans clamoring for the track’s release. The remix infuses the track with an energetic main stage flair, complemented by a driving bassline and massive build-up.

British DJ/Producer Matt Nash has announced the release of his upcoming 2-track EP ‘Generation Love’, due out on 5th May via Steve Angello’s SIZE Records.

Uptempo opener ‘ML4U’ combines a driving bassline, full-bodied synth patterns laced with an emotive vocal hook. ‘Generation’ boasts a hard-edged bassline and punchy piano chords, underpinning a warped vocal hook, bringing the energetic EP to a close. Polished and well rounded, ‘Generation Love’ showcases Nash’s cleverly-crafted sound and is set to launch the British producer into mainstream consciousness.

Matt Nash has carved his way through London’s thriving dance music scene since the age of 15.
