This song is called "28 Drinks Later" and was the last track I ever wrote for my former band "Exit Dead End". It was never recorded or released, though I think we played it live a few times, even without there being an actual songtext for it.

The Black Noh is featured as the only snare in this track, in contrast to the other demos I did use some EQ (ReaEQ to clean, Maag EQ4 to boost). There is no compression on the snare track, only on the Drum Bus and the Master.
The "+punch" was activated and turned up to about 10-11 o'clock.

Dark VX Kick Demo (Rob Chokehold - Strangers) [instrumental]

Demo track for my small free Sample Pack / Sample Instrument called "Tiny Metal Impact". Everything you can hear in this demo track was made with 4 instances of the AUi plugin.
OK, I cheated and put them through a light compressor and some limiter to raise the overall loudness, that's it. Untouched otherwise.

I used my beloved set of Japan AT3035 and Apogee preamp to record small metal objects, which were later shot through normalizing hell and a (software) Maag EQ to bring some sunshine in.

There are coins, keys, a fork, a wee candy tin, and I let them all play together. Hell, I even brought out my trusty DI box to get a clang or two, as well as some switching noises.
The only sounds in this pack not sourcing from tiny metal mayhem are the mouse button noises. You'll survive.

This is a quick demo track for my newest virtual instrument. KVR user Kriminal posted samples of his Les Paul SG Custom, I mangled them into a plugin and now you can play it.
 

Even though this isn't "high quality", I'm sure you'll get better sounds out of it than I did, because I didn't even use a MIDI controller, just "painted" the notes into the piano roll. Anyone with a keyboard and a little skill could get some better riffs out of this.

Kriminal's Les Paul SG Custom demo

This is a quick demo track for my newest virtual instrument, a sampled 16-bit drum machine that was was loved a lot in the 90s for its sounds and triggering possibilities.

I put a lot of time and effort into this, even though it's still at an early stage and is likely to develop into a more practical tool than it is at the moment, it sounds just sooo beautiful. Not clean and sterile like modern synth drums, but it still has some real fizz and buzz to it... listen to it, play with it, love it.

Black Noh Snare Demo (drums only)

An old project with only acoustic guitars, I created a drum track for it to demonstrate you how dynamic my Black Noh Snare plugin can sound - if you play it right.

In this track there's only a Compressor and a slight send Reverb on the Snare.
Straight out of the plugin, NO EQ. Just some +punch dialed in.

Notice how it cracks in the higher velocities and how it pops in the lower ones? You can use that to fit it into all sorts of styles of music.

Black Noh Snare Demo II (Acoustic)

This is a work-in-progress track of one of my projects, there is no bass and the guitars are actually just guide tracks, so please don't get hung up on the bad playing, they're just placeholders.

It's loud and heavy as hell, so prepare for some ringing in your ears - but it's the perfect showcase for what this Snare was intended to do: stand out perfectly in a modern low-tuned Metal mix without much processing.

I actually programmed this drum track for Superior Drummer, using all its fancy articulations like Rolls and Flams and Ruffs and so on, but now that I spent an hour simulating them with the single hits in the Black Noh... I kind of like the sound of my Snare way better.
