An idea I am working on. It's something I am desperate to develop as I think it's got a cool sound. Simply it's about being alright with getting nothing right, being chaotic and multi-facetted.

About being unsure of where you're going but being happy with your direction. About being too hard on yourself and forgetting that you have got it good.

I like this song. Another one I haven't completed but am thrilled with it so far. Still working on improving it. It's cheesy but a good one, the lyrics are thoughtful and about coming to terms with a new start (smallest violin, please). Enjoy

Hold Back The River by James Bay

Written for a friend from Croatian. I try to keep things as simple as possible when I write. The chords aren't overly complicated and the lyrics use a lot of metaphors. Sometimes the songs write themselves, I amn't entirely sure where the inspiration comes from. This one (like all my songs) is a work in progress I'm really enjoying.

Been working on this for a while. After asking my friends on FB what I should call the piece, I listened intently to the melody when the chords really kick in.
