Moon actually gave us permission to use the original in Hopeless, but we figured we'd try to put our own spin on it while still showing love for the original. So here is our (modified) cover.

Toadie actually made this months ago, but it sorta slipped through the cracks. Better late than never, right?

Hopeless is a roleshift AU inspired by the harsh aesthetic of Underfell. The harshness of the character's personalities altered the events following the human-monster conflict, leading to an underground riddled with disarray. That said, at their core everyone is still the classic characters you know and love, even if it's a little harder to see that than usual.

Chara takes the role of Napstablook. They have hidden in the Ruins with their brother Asriel for years now, for fear of being slaughtered by the harsh monster personality outside the forgotten halls. But this safety and hospitality has not taken the edge off, far from it. They may be cynical and distrustful, but they're also loyal and determined, and will do anything to keep their brother's flimsy utopia safe.

Well this was certainly fun to work on! Precautious initially did the composition for "Enemy Approaching" which version belongs to them, "Bonetrousle" which version belongs to me, "Spear of Justice" which is a mix of both version, and Determination until finally Once Upon a Time! I did the "Death by Glamour" part overall with some fix from them. I mostly did the fixing or added more variations to it.
