NEW SOUNDS OF CHOP

Chop Liver commenced his musical journey by picking up the guitar in his sophomore year of high school in Long Beach, California, in the early two-thousands.  He started out in the metal scene, joining a few small bands.  But one night, at a small house party, he heard house music for the first time.  He decided, then and there, to integrate his sound into the underground electronic music scene.  He collaborated with DJs—Darin Wescott, Shani and Mylow, to name a few—jamming out on his guitar to a range of genres from house, techno, and minimal to drum and base.  After a couple of years of playing at small parties and underground clubs, and a few desert festivals, he took his spot behind the decks and formed his own ever-evolving sound, which can be described as nothing less than a religious encounter.  Experiencing one of his sets is akin to a bliss-fuck crucifixion—a journey that tugs at your hearts ears, peels you off your seat and onto the dance floor, rises to a catharsis, and even at times moves you to tears; a true spiritual communion that allows you a momentary glimpse into redemption.  He injects his soul, his heart, and all of his his passion into every set and every production, and takes you along on his pilgrimage with him.
