Hi everyone! Hoping everyone is enjoying their summer, spending some time outside, and doing something well for themselves! APR took a little break, but we are SO back with a guest takeover with none other than T. Smoothhhh from Dover, Delaware.

We recently met smoothhhh in NYC this past weekend at Lovejoys and it was such a treat! We are really fortunate to have him choose APR as his “return” to curating guest mixes for the masses. Biography: 

Born in Boston and now living in Dover, Delaware, smoothhhh is a sound selector &, vinyl collector, and one of the “OG Soundcloud Radio” DJ & host of FREERADIO. A music enthusiast through and through, smoothhhhh finds his future beat inspiration through the likes of Joe Kay of Soulection, J.Digs of UP Records, Cocoa Sensai of FUNKNVIBE, Andre Doughty, savvv with jussslisten radio, woahnellie with NightTide FM, and best friend ave harris fka mr.geniusidiot. Always an avid record collector, smoothhhhh recently reignited his passion with Tyler, The Creator's Chromakopia last year (October 2024). Over the years of DJing, starting in 2017 smoothhhhh has remained a disciple of finding a good flow state and experimenting with new sounds from crate digging with eclectic flips from soundcloud producers and djs alike.

"(I) Vividly remember creating the idea (for FREERADIO) from scratch while having some great late night sessions gaming, and listening to music with my best friend, ave harris fka mr.geniusidiot. He had introduced me to Soulection at the peak of their sounds, learned about J.ROBB & Isaiah Rashad, and saw both live. After watching & getting the energy from the live shows, I wanted to emulate the vibes and sounds with my own friends. Learned how to DJ in 2017 and have been a major part of my life ever since. Been able to meet countless like-minded creatives all across the country and outside it as well.”
