Chresus Jighst got involved with music in 2011, and the purpose was to create an explicit translation of the psychedelic experience into sound. As a self proclaimed psychoactivist, he considers personal knowledge of the psychedelic experience to be equally important as knowledge of music and sound. 

In 2012, the Jighst teamed up with Sauze and formed the duo In Progress. With In Progress he has released music on Visionary Shamanics Records and Dark Frog Music among others. He also has another project called Fyzz, consisting of only himself, which is melodic/symphonic darkpsy 145-170 bpm with releases on Visionary Shamanics Records, Tarapita Sounds and Horrordelic Records. Fyzz and In Progress is going to be the focus of Jighst's psychedelic explorations in the future, while the Chresus Jighst project can be anything from ambient to drum and bass.
