Wake Me Up

The Breath of Ygdrasil is a sensory immersion into a forgotten Nordic ritual, a shamanic ceremony where the voices of the elders resonate among the roots of the World Tree. This piece fuses tribal percussion, guttural chanting, sacred whispers, and natural sounds to recreate an ancestral ritual trance.

In a slow and hypnotic atmosphere, the drums beat like beating hearts around the sacred fire, while incantations evoke primordial forces. The wind blows the secrets of the past, ritual cries rend the silence, and ancient spirits seem to answer the call.

Every sound, every breath, every word, is an offering to Ygdrasil—a symbol of the balance between the worlds. This is not a song in the traditional sense, but a sonic rite, raw, archaic, and transcendent.

The Breath of Ygdrasil cannot be sung: it is experienced, with eyes closed and soul open.

Le Souffle d'Ygdrasil est une immersion sensorielle dans un rituel nordique oublié, une cérémonie chamanique où les voix des anciens résonnent parmi les racines de l'Arbre du Monde. Cette pièce fusionne percussions tribales, chants gutturaux, murmures sacrés et sons naturels pour recréer une transe rituelle ancestrale.

Dans une atmosphère lente et hypnotique, les tambours battent comme des cœurs autour du feu sacré, tandis que les incantations évoquent les forces primordiales. Le vent souffle les secrets du passé, les cris rituels déchirent le silence et les esprits anciens semblent répondre à l'appel.

Chaque son, chaque souffle, chaque mot est une offrande à Ygdrasil, symbole de l'équilibre entre les mondes. Ce n'est pas un chant au sens traditionnel du terme, mais un rite sonore, brut, archaïque et transcendant.

Le Souffle d'Ygdrasil ne se chante pas : il se vit les yeux fermés et l'âme ouverte.

Der Atem von Ygdrasil ist ein sinnliches Eintauchen in ein vergessenes nordisches Ritual, eine schamanische Zeremonie, bei der die Stimmen der Ältesten zwischen den Wurzeln des Weltenbaums widerhallen. Dieses Stück vereint Stammesperkussion, gutturale Gesänge, heiliges Flüstern und Naturgeräusche, um eine uralte rituelle Trance nachzubilden.

In einer langsamen und hypnotischen Atmosphäre schlagen die Trommeln wie schlagende Herzen um das heilige Feuer, während Beschwörungen Urkräfte heraufbeschwören. Der Wind trägt die Geheimnisse der Vergangenheit, rituelle Schreie zerreißen die Stille, und uralte Geister scheinen dem Ruf zu folgen.

Jeder Laut, jeder Atemzug, jedes Wort ist eine Gabe an Ygdrasil – ein Symbol des Gleichgewichts zwischen den Welten. Dies ist kein Lied im traditionellen Sinne, sondern ein klangliches Ritual, roh, archaisch und transzendent.
