JOIA returns to Justin Martin’s What To Do alongside Peter Sheppard & Lola Murz with the moody, UK Garage inspired “Take Me (Home)”. His previous release on the label was one of our favorites, a wild and eerie remix of MNTRA’s “iDK”.

Born out of an ongoing back-and-forth project, “Take Me (Home)” is a gritty and emotional track produced by JOIA and Peter Sheppard (Co-Founder of the Portland’s widely respected dance space, Process). Airy synths and a chunky, wobbly bassline play alongside the sliced and diced vocals from Lola Murz, all stitched together with tight and tactical percussion.

All in all, this tune takes us to the place we want to be as we feel the seasons change.
