CHRIS AUSTIN - DEBT SONG

This profile has been set up in loving memory of Chris "Afrochris" Austin who sadly left us on 18th July 2013. He was a gifted and prolific songwriter and has left behind a wealth of superb music. This is a collection of stuff that has accumulated my hard discs over the years and I wanted to make available for everyone to enjoy. There are recordings made when he was living in the caravan in Ian and Sue's back garden, busking in a subway at Embankment tube station, a few demo tracks, some arrangements that we worked on way back that were never quite finished and some of his inimitable electric guitar playing with the epic Bonzai Reservoir. I hope you all enjoy these unique and often poignant recordings, and that those that knew him are filled with fond memories of a truly extraordinary character. So long, dude. Marko x x x
