I named it, You’re Not That. I wrote this about identity and how easy it is to get lost in people. there is a quote within the song by famous philosopher, Alan Watts, that helps sums up what I mean.

You’re Not That

i named it, heat of depression. It was during one of the lowest points of my life in the fall of 2020 during my senior year of college. So many things were changing around me and I was faced having to deal with isolation mixed with self-doubt and concern about my future. I just felt trapped, empty, and alone. Despite it all, I still mustered the strength to record this very short piece. The rises can be described at attempts to escape while the falls can be described as the feeling of numbness. Who cares though it’s just a fucking ambient piece that I wanted to share
